How do I remove files from the (remote) backup, while another part remains?
- Start the CrashPlan application and go to the Backup tab
- Change the file selection, so the unwanted files are no longer selected
- Start the backup:
(to the destination from which you want to delete files) - Wait until the backup is completed
- Go to the relevant destination (click on the blue underlined name of the destination)
- Click on the button "Compact"
That's it. Once this process is complete, your unwanted files are removed.
